What to expect from Tayman Roofing & Siding.

The estimate.

Within 24 hours of contacting Tayman Roofing & Siding, (via phone or online form) you will have a representative call to get the details of exactly what your home entails and schedule an in home estimate. (In home estimates are free and optional for the home owner to be present.) Once a confirmed time is made, a salesperson will meet with you to go over materials, any questions or concerns you may have and measure your home. After our salesperson has addressed these items they will either; email, fax, mail or drop off your written proposal.

The contract & scheduling.

  Once you have signed your contract and selected colors your salesperson will schedule your home improvement. Typical scheduling is 1-2 weeks weather permitting and in most cases quicker if all materials are in stock. The day before work begins our office will call to confirm time and date.

Work day.

Our trained staff will arrive between 7:00-8:00 a.m. We will park our dump truck as close as possible to the home.  Only by homeowner permission will we take our truck into your yard if it is necessary to get closer to the home to throw trash off into our truck. Then our staff will lay tarps across your front and back yard making sure all plants and shrubbery are taken care of. We suggest any fragile items near the house be taken inside or we will be glad to move them further from the home to prevent damage. During your replacement a supervisor will stop by to make sure employees are installing products properly. All roof flashings will be replaced including pipe flanges. We never leave old existing flashings on your home, unless the homeowner insists.  Once the removal and installation is complete our workers will gather all remaining trash and go around the property with magnets insuring nails are disposed of. (Our staff performs their best ability in retrieving all nails however we can never guarantee that all nails are removed, since it is easy for them to disappear in shrubbery, tall grass, etc.) Typical roof replacements are 6-8 hours. This includes full removal and replacement.  After completion a representative will contact you to go over your home, issue your manufacturer warranty and receive final payment.
